Adult Program

Ottawa’s First Drop-In Classes For Adults

All of our adult classes are drop-in and run all year long in-person and online. The more often you come, the quicker you will learn, but the program is set up so that if you miss a class, you won’t be lost (and you won’t have to pay).

Adult dancers have the opportunity to take part in our December show, year-end recital in June, and dance exams. The classes focus on a shared love of dance, a way to exercise, have fun and the opportunity to be the best dancer you can.

Please note: all adults must reserve their spot in class as space is limited. You can reserve your spot here.

Frequently Asked Questions

>How much is a class?

In-Studio Classes: $17/1-hour class, $8.50/30-min class, or save with a multiple class pass - 5 hours for $70, 10 hours for $130, 25 hours for $300. Workshops and Dance Camps are priced differently.

> How can I pay?

Payment should be made before your class. We accept debit, credit, cash, cheques, or e-transfers to payment@dancefusionstudios.com. All passes are valid for 6 months, and are not refundable and non-transferable.

> What if I can’t commit to every week?

No worries! All of our adult classes are drop-in, which means you don’t have to pay for classes you don’t attend.

> Is there a dress-code? What should I wear?

Come dressed in clothes you can move in and be comfortable in. There is no dress code. If you have dance shoes, please bring what you need for the appropriate class. If you don’t have any dance shoes, you can dance in socks or bare feet!

> Do I need to buy dance shoes?

Dance shoes are very helpful, particularly to make sure we don’t slip, but they’re not necessary for most classes. You can wear socks or bare feet in every class except for tap. You can do the first few classes of tap without shoes, but it’s way more fun to make some noise!

> Do I have to take part in performances?

Not at all! All of our adults can opt in or out of our performances - they’re an enormous amount of fun, and a great way to build confidence and artistry, but you’ll never have to do something you’re not up for!
