Creating a Barbie-themed Flashmob for the CWIM Conference
In early Spring, Dance Fusion Studios was approached by a group of Ottawa women doctors wanting to learn and execute a Barbie-themed flashmob for the Canadian Women in Medicine conference in May 2024 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
After several rehearsals with our staff members, Ava Suuronen and Caitlin Spearing, the doctors were off to the conference! The conference audience was starstruck with the flashmob dancer’s performance, and they earned a well-deserved standing ovation!
The whole Dance Fusion Studios Team is proud of the women doctors for venturing outside their comfort zone and demonstrating our motto, “every body can dance!” Congratulations on a successful flash mob, dancers!
