Please note that the studio will be closed and all classes cancelled from Tuesday, September 27th to Friday, September 30th while our resident dance company Caithream Celtic Dance Fusion is performing "Swan Loch" at the Shenkman Arts Centre.
Here at Dance Fusion Studios, we believe that dance should be accessible for everyone, no matter what. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been dancing since you were three years old, or you used to dance and you want to get back into it, or you finally have the time in your retirement to take the dance class you always dreamed of.
We also believe there’s no such thing as a “perfect dancer’s body”. Any body can dance, regardless of size, height, or bad knees. Come and let us prove it to you.
Dancing should be fun. Dance Fusion Studios’ classes are all relaxed and recreational, with an emphasis on teaching you how to dance, not just showing you the steps. All of our staff is qualified with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing. While we can guarantee a good workout, we also promise you’ll have a great time.
For our Youth Programme, we value safety above all, with a healthy atmosphere of fun and cooperation. We are not a competition-based school, with an exception for highland dancing. Our efforts go into performances like recitals, and exams, if the dancer chooses.
For our Student/Adult Programme, we feel strongly that adult classes need to be geared specifically toward adults. You will not be in a class with nine-year-olds, and you won’t have to wear tights and a bodysuit if you don’t want to – but if you want to wear the full ballet get-up, from pink tights to tutu, go for it! The drop-in-fee rate instead of term fees is perfectly suited to your busy life.
Come and try out a class and see for yourself!
